Iran’s nuclear capacities are crushed, but the desire of the regime for the bomb can continue to exist
The status of the nuclear program of Iran remains unclear, even after President Donald Trump said that American strikes destroyed Iran’s nuclear capacities on 22 June.
Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), told CBS ‘Face the Nation’ in an interview on Sunday that the capacity of Iran remains, but it is impossible to assess the full damage to the nuclear program, unless inspectors have not been allowed.

“It is clear that there has been serious damage, but in the first place it is not total damage. And secondly, Iran has the capacities there, industrial and technological capacities. So if they wish, they will be able to start again,” Grossi said.
Grossi said that Iran could turn centrifuges to spin enriched uranium “in a matter of months”.
