Bobby was assigned last week to guide me around Connecticut. He is a former police officer who now takes care of guests of my radio station affiliated companies in the nutmeg state that the area does not know. He is a very smart veteran of the Air Force and the police.
When Bobby recognized me as the guy with whom the then candidate Donald Trump was not entirely happy during the four debates in which 45-47 participated in 2015-2016 When I was among the journalists, I was asked by Bobby in the head and spontaneously the answer in the subhead line. I had never used that answer before. But it is completely true and accurate for me.
Not surprisingly, the next question after “yes” was “why?” To which I reacted without much thinking: “Because he is an ‘A-to-B’ man and need much more of it.”
Trump responds to critics with counterparts in politics and constant cultural wars
I do not care about part of the Trump policy, staff and decisions over the years, but I give standing ovations for others. He is so much better for the Oval Office than secretary Hillary Clinton, former President Joe Biden or former Vice President Kamala Harris. I don’t really have to explain my three votes.
But if I confess that I have grown to “fun” to a stranger, it is honest for the stranger to ask “why?” My answer this week is the rapid summation that I will use in the future.
I don’t think Bobby, or someone else in an informal conversation, wants to hear why the defense of the president, especially of the American navy, is absolutely crucial for the long -term safety safety; Why Operation Midnight Hammer saved the world from the nightmare of a nuclear Iran; Why his requirement that “elite” training no longer violates the civil rights of the country when it comes to admission and protecting his Jewish students on campus is just and necessary; How are the Supreme Court and the Lower Federal Courts Saving the Constitution of the fused by ultra-progressives in robes; The only big beautiful account, a closed border, etc. etc. The list of excellent policy is long, just like the list of excellent initiative. I have my list of disagreements about policy and people. It is much shorter.
What most people want when they ask about President Trump and if their interest is real, in contrast to the bell that is meant to open a fight, a concise explanation of my voices and my affection for 45-47, one that is not crazy or a distraction and my spontaneous answer has improved in my mind.
When I practiced the rights, I represented large developers who had huge projects that sometimes cover tens of thousands of hectares. Or individual entrepreneurs such as Trump or business entities, the decision makers in the world of land development were all “a-to-b” boys and girls. They had a project, time was money and they had to go from where they were on the “critical path” to the end point of the sale of houses, commercial office spaces or industrial locations.
Lawyers were hardly welcome on those journeys, but often necessary and when the obstacle in the road was a federal or national law or regulation that had to do with ‘endangered species’, ‘Wetlands’, or a few other categories of obstacles that should be crossed, the phone would ring. The client did not care about my family, my company, my faith or my health. Can I get their project from point A to B?
And that is an “ATB” man or bile: a problem solver. President Trump sees problems and he wants to take the most direct path to resolve them within the constitutional order.
(He always obeys the court and has often re -confirmed his intention to always do this. So talk about dictatorship and authoritarianism is absurd. Those who use such ridiculous descriptions must lose the respect of serious people. If you submit to the law “in law” dictator or authoritarian.)
But Trump is immediately, always and everywhere. He tells you exactly what he thinks. He changes thoughts and then tells you what he thinks now. He identifies what he thinks are solutions and follows them in a linear way. If something doesn’t work, he looks for the next best direct line for a solution. He doesn’t stop trying. “A-to-B” again and again.
There is only one “A”, where America is now. There are a large number of “BS”, which are all the problems that Trump sees in one way or another in Bedleviling America, from XI and Putin to Gaza to high interest rates, to the need for the production of all kinds to rely.
He is always in the “most direct possible solution” business, until that possible solution becomes impossible. Then he finds the next “B” to strive in that space.
I have grown enormously to find this approach great because it is public. Everyone sees it. Everyone who wants to listen will be explained.
The president has always been the best interview of my life in the broadcast because he answers every question and, if you ask a stupid question, he will tell you that too. Accessibility? There has never been a president to whom the public had more access. By the way, I think he is the case, because all developers who succeed questions have to answer questions from the most extraordinary series of people from different levels of talent if they want to get “B” and see their project completed.
All successful developers are fundamentally on top of each other. They all take big swings and have some mistakes. But those who succeed? They are all “a-to-b” people.

So that’s why I love Trump. I have a priest and a pastor. I don’t need it in a president. I think the Constitution as amended and interpreted is a genius work that respects and President Trump does that, although he is not shy to have his lawyers tested old precedents (“Humphrey’s executor” or the “Chevron Doctrine” comes in mind) that may have to be thrown away by the Supreme Court. He is full of energy and resilience that the entire country, even his political enemies, feeds on.
And he scares our enemies, or at least makes them hesitate in their malignant designs.
De Gop has a great young bank that helped Trump to build up: Vice president JD Vance, Rubio and Heseth secretaresses, Senators Cotton and Cruz, representative Stefanik. He can get along well with GOP leaders with independent sources of power, such as speaker of the house Mike Johnson, Senate majority leader Thune and smart governors such as Ron Desantis in Florida and Glenn Youngkin in Virginia. The Democrats are in disorder and dive off the hard left cliff such as Lemmings. Trump has seized the political center and holds it with focus on issues of the physical safety of citizens, the safety of their children and economic growth for everyone.

He is an “a-to-b” man and Americans who are generally the case.
Trump is much more “TR” than “RR” or “HW” in temperament, but for this time and the next three years we need an A-to-B-man who lose rounds in the courts. It is sometimes that simple.
