Radio presenter Howard Stern announced on Monday that he will stay with SiriusXM after an on-Air Gag fans wondered what the next step is for the Shock Jock at the Satellite Radio Company.
Stern is ranked as one of the best paid entertainers, with Forbes who regards him the best-paid radio personality in the world, and it is largely because of the important contract with SiriusXM that ends in December.
The Radio Hall of Famer recently signed a five -year contract of $ 500 million with SiriusXM in 2020, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Stern, who proclaimed himself the ‘King of All Media’, began his radio career in Westchester County, New York, in WRNW before he continued to stations in Hartford, Connecticut and Detroit. By 1985, Stern moved to WNBC in New York City and started to syndicate his show nationally. In 1992 he became the first radio personality that was number 1 at the same time in New York and Los Angeles.

Stern has a long list of featured guests who have appeared in his show, from rock legends Mick Jagger and Bruce Springsteen to actor George Clooney and Talkshowhost Oprah Winfrey. President Donald Trump also appeared several times in the show in the 1990s and 2000, although Stern is vocal about his political differences since he was chosen.

But the show of Stern opened with a joke performed by Andy Cohen, who joked that he would replace Stern by a new program called “Andy 100.”
Stern did not say whether he has renewed his contract with SiriusXM, which will expire at the end of 2025.

“Here is the truth: SiriusXM and my team talked about how we are going ahead in the future,” Stern said. “They approached me, they sat down with me the way they normally do and they are fantastic.”
