A group of American far-left, communism-loving influencers and fashionistas descended on the island of Cuba last week in what they called a relief mission, but it was really just a sad and ridiculous photo.
The entire episode would be hilarious without the terrible suffering of the Cuban people under the ruthless Castro regime, which this wealthy group of idiots is for some reason determined to maintain.
Among this gathering of useful idiots was the daughter of newly minted millionaire Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Israeli, who wore a T-shirt that read “Welcome to Minneapolis” and showed the skyline ablaze, as in the deadly George Floyd riots.
Isra’s mother apparently owes everything she has, including luxury wineries, to America and capitalism, but there she was, revolutionary cosplaying and spitting in the average American’s face.

The belle of the ball, however, was podcaster and noted dog lover Hasan Piker, who today is perhaps the Democratic Party’s most important public intellectual. He did not disappoint.
Much was made of Piker’s $1,300 glasses and expensive fancy shirts, but those poor, unwashed Cubans need something to aspire to, right? Or at least to worship.
Here’s what this lunatic had to say about millions of Cubans living without electricity while he and his fellow partiers, like Irish musical act Kneecap, stayed in a five-star hotel with generators:

Piker also told his audience that the bad Cubans had moved to Miami and the good Cubans had remained on the island and remained humble servants of the Castros.

Piker, a close friend of New York’s Islamo-Marxist mayor Zohran Mamdani, is also a classic Jew-hater.
Don’t take my word for it, this is what Rep. Ritchie Torres, DN.Y., wrote on the subject:
“Mr. Piker has demonized Orthodox Jews as ‘inbred’ and dehumanized a Jewish man as a ‘bloodthirsty pig dog.’ … Mr. Piker has all but exposed himself as an advocate for the sexual violence and brutal rapes of October 7.”

While Torres and other Democrats such as Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania have remained staunch friends of Israel, it is Piker and his anti-Semitic ilk who have the upper hand at the DNC.

This month, Piker will appear at a rally for a congressional candidate in Michigan, and it’s much the same as far-right Holocaust doubter Nick Fuentes appearing alongside a mainstream Republican candidate, but that never happens.
In some ways, Cuba is the perfect example of what Piker, Omar and Mamdani want to make America into. We can all be happy poor people without electricity enjoying “island life” while of course getting paid millions of dollars for coming up with the idea.
The Trump administration, led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, is trying to free the Cuban people from a criminal regime and, frankly, bring the island nation into the 21st century.

The potential of Cuba and its people, once the Catros’ boot is removed from their throats, is limitless. But for Piker and Omar, such success would be a fatal blow to their dreams of overthrowing America.

You see, while every sane and rational person strives to make Cuba more like the United States, free, flourishing and, well,… enlightened, Piker’s group of commies wants America to become more like Cuba.
As the midterm elections approach, it is critical that Republicans make it clear that Piker is no longer an outlier within the Democratic Party. Hell, he probably has more real influence right now than House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
