Federal Agents in Los Angeles arrested on Wednesday former NBA All-Star Gilbert-Arenas on accusations with regard to the operation of an illegal gambling company from his Encino Mansion.
Five other defendants were also taken into custody, according to The office of the American lawyers for the central district of California, including Yevgeni Gershman, a presumably member at a high level of an Israeli -organized crime group.
The former Point Guard is accused of one count of conspiracy to exploit an illegal gambling company, a count of exploiting an illegal gambling company and a count of making false statements to federal researchers.
According to the indictment of Arenas rented out, Encino men’s house for poker games with high deployment from September 2021 to July 2022.
Gershman, together with alleged fellow samplers Evgenni Tourevski, Allan Austria and Yarin Cohen, led Pot-Limit Omaha Poker games, in addition to other games, and also collected a house costs or ‘striking’ of each pot.
Another man, ievgen Krachun, is said to work as the “chip runner” of the operation, chips for tables, paying employees and following the victories and losses of players.

In addition to the breeding costs, Gershman is also accused of conspiracy to commit marriage fraud. Prosecutors say that the 49-year-old conspiracy with the 35-year-old Valentina Cojocari to enter into a false marriage, so that he could get a permanent legal status in the US
Cojocari was also arrested on Wednesday for accusations with regard to marriage fraud.
