The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) contacts one of the most prominent critics in the hope of bridging the gap and finding a path to cooperate in the field of aid distribution. On Tuesday, the executive chairman of the organization sent, Eerw. Johnnie Moore, a letter to Tom Fletcher, the Under-Secretary General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Aid Coordinator.
“As you know, the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate. Despite the extraordinary volume of help in Gaza, the vast majority of warehouses, not supplied or looted. The result is millions of citizens without consistent access to food aid,” Moore wrote.
In his letter, Moore claims that although UN agencies have the stuck help the fault of a “lack of permissions” and safety problems, reality is much different.

“More than 400 auxiliary distribution points of the UN and its partners remain closed. Kitchens are closed, trucks are inactive, drivers are striking and convoys are routinely looted. This is not an access problem. It is a capacity and operational issue, and the world deserves honesty about that distinction.”
Moore also expressed his concern about unauthorized organizations and spokespersons who launch public retaliation attacks and at the same time ignore ‘broader systemic errors’.
Lt. Col. NADAV Shoshani, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) International spokesperson, posted a video On Tuesday, 950 trucks from Aid would see “waiting in Gaza for international organizations to pick up and distribute to Gazan citizens.”

Fletcher is one of different UN critics who have expressed opposition against the GHF supported by the US and Israel. Before the organization even started spreading meals, Fletcher said it was a “fig sheet for further violence and displacement” and a “cynical side issue”. Since then, Fletcher and UN special rapporteur Francesca have criticized Albanese de GHF for reports of violence at the locations, where Albanese calls them ‘Death Traps’.
“The veterans who are part of our security personnel are very, highly educated, experienced and competent. And they are not there because they know how to pull a trigger, they are there because they know when they should not pull a trigger. And our people never shot at anyone,” Fay said.
