Recent satellite images have revealed continuous activities and new evidence of considerable damage to tunnels and access roads on the underground Fordow Uranium enrichment location caused by last week’s air strikes.
The facility became the target of the Israeli troops on June 23, a day after the US had performed strikes using Bunker-Buster Bombs.
The new satellite images with high resolution, collected by Maxar Technologies, shows an excavator and various staff members that are placed right next to the northern shaft on the ridge above the underground complex.
The crane also seems to work at the entrance of the axis, where various extra vehicles are seen under the ridge, parked along the access path that was built to gain access to the site.

The photos of Maxar also reveal the complete destruction of a facility north of the site, surrounded by more craters and spread dust. Another crater and visible fire signs are seen on a Western access route.
Analysts believe that the primary goal of the strikes was to hinder access to the sites and to complicate repair efforts.

Both the United States and Israel have stated that these military actions were aimed at obstructing Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon. Iran has rejected these allegations and claims that his nuclear program is completely peaceful.
The Fordow site, which is buried in a mountain near Qom, about 60 miles southwest of Tehran, was bombed by the US on 22 June, resulting in six prominent craters and a noticeable spread of gray rubble, according to satellite photos.

The next day, Israel confirmed that it had performed a second strike on Fordow, specifically aimed at the roads that led to the facility. Iranian officials later recognized this attack.
Gene. Dan Caine, chairman of the joint staff chefs, told reporters during a Pentagon briefing last Sunday that although all three the Iranian nuclear locations were focused in the strike “extremely serious damage and destruction”, the full damage would take time to assess.

The last strike at Fordow is because the Israeli defense forces said that Israel also launched a series of strikes that focus on the notorious Evin and various Iranian military command centers in a “constant attempt to deteriorate the military capacities of the Iranian regime.”
