For a long time NBA player Sebastian Telfair, who would start to serve a prison sentence on Tuesday, President Donald Trump asked a grace just a few hours before his imprisonment.
“I know that Donald Trump has some big things going on, but Donald Trump, I want you to come Holla ‘… Give your boy a grace so that I can stay at home with my baby,” Telfair TMZ told on Monday.
“Trump, check in with my story and you definitely want to forgive me. You will keep me responsible and want me to continue. But I did too good” to be sent to prison, he said.
He was originally sentenced to the time that was served and accompanied for three years, but later received six months in the slammer to violate the conditions of his release, The New York Post reported.
According to to SporticoTelfair missed agreements with his probation officer, avoided his obligation from the community and was told by a judge that he did not work as ordered.
Telfair attributed the problem to a paper mixup and said his situation was ‘super unfair’.
