There is a growing idea that support for Israel is a division about American law, usually because of a handful of influencers that no one who is not terminally online is not online, but in fact they are Democrats who are divided into a very ordinary face.
Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., An emerging leader in the Caucus, took X on Friday to say that “recognizing a Palestinian state is an idea that has come for time”, which reflects plans through France, the UK and Canada, to do exactly that.

I pointed out to the congressman that by “distributing prices for the cancellation of teenagers at music festivals, Hamas will learn this lesson well and perform it in blood”, that would say, if they are rewarded, they will do it again.
Here it will be interesting. As Khana notes, his proposal ‘explicitly calls for a democratic Palestine where Hamas is not in power and is disarmed’. This led me to press the congressman whether this recognition would take place before or after Hamas that actually left power.
“I am for recognizing a Palestinian state (not -Shas -representative) and then working together with the 22 Arab countries to work on a democratic Palestine,” he replied.
So in fact the answer was that, yes, as a result of the barbarity of 7 October 2023 and its aftermath, Khanna wants to reward the terrorists with achieving their secondary goal, a Palestinian state. Their primary goal is of course the destruction of Israel.
I decided to see how a pro-Israel-Democratic voice for Capitol Hill would respond to Khanna’s proposal, so I asked Senator John Fetterman, D-Penn., To weigh. He did boy.
“Witnessing many in the media and in my party is changing Israel into a paria state just dirty,” said the Maverick legislator.
Fetterman makes an important point here: the sudden call for a Palestinian state is clearly not only a reprimand of Israel, but a threat to it. The Jewish state is told to end his war, even with Hamas in power, or otherwise.
The good news here is that rep. Khanna and his anti-Israeli allies do not have more power to recognize a Palestinian state than you or I must recognize a sovereign Quebec or Alberta. The bad news is that it can be Khanna, not Fetterman who represents the spirit of the Democratic Party on the Israeli issue.

On Friday, the Senator was -Lesser leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., who ‘the whirlwind, as he once expressed it, as demonstrators, including a member of the New York city council, fell at his office in Gotham to scream, shout and be arrested while they are opposed to Israel.
It could not have happened to a more merit member of Democrat Leadership. These protesters are the wages of Schumer’s Fecklessness in the light of not only of anti-Israel sentiment in his party, but often directly anti-Semitism.
After all, it was Schumer and his peers who were quiet when Jewish students were harassed and chased by pro-terrorist mobs at university campuses in recent years, a despicable situation that President Donald Trump has set.
This week, 27 Senate Democrats voted to reduce some military help to Israel. No republicans did that, but that also leaves 20 Democrats who did not. It was a fairly narrow margin among Democrats, even if the anti-Israeli crowd is much, much louder.
Ultimately, if the Khanna wing of the Democratic party has its way, Israel will be weakened, Hamas will be strengthened and the deadly counterbalance of the last 75 years will be restored.

The Fetterman-Vleugel, albeit quietly waiting from the Hoodie-Rocking Senior Senator of the Keystone-State, on the other hand, is at Trump and almost the entire Gop is in the permanent conviction that a return to the pre-war status quo that leaves Israel open for further attack is not acceptable.
Last year, in Israel, I had the opportunity to talk to officials, including some in the war cabinet, and they emphasized one principle time and again: neither Hamas nor the Palestinian case in general, was allowed to become stronger than on October 6, 2023.

It is a mystery why so many Democrats cannot understand that paying bad behavior yields more bad behavior, but whether this refusal comes from political necessity, or just unfortunate progressive naivety, it is dangerous.
For now it seems certain that the virulent anti-Israel wave in the Democratic party was washed over the Fetterman and the few brave others who stand in front of the Jewish state, such as Rep. Ritchie Torres, DN.Y. When others are ready to get up, this is the moment.
