The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall of eggs connected to an outbreak of Salmonella on Thursday.
The recall is linked to at least 92 cases of diseases, but zero reported dead.

The sales dates of the eggs vary from “7/1/25” to “9/16/25”, and each recalled carton has a printed code of “no. Ca 7695.”
“The potential for infection was noticed after it was brought to our attention by the FDA and other authorities that our product can contain the presence of Salmonella,” the FDA said. “The production of the product has been suspended while the FDA and the company continue their research into the source of the problem.”

These eggs were distributed in California and Nevada, the company said.
Consumers who have purchased one of the affected shop brand cartons are encouraged to bring them back to where they were purchased for a refund or to safely remove them.
Salmonella -Poisoning Can result in diarrhea, nausea, abdominal cramps and fever. Symptoms can start hours up to a week after taking infected food.

It can also be fatal in young children, the elderly and people with a weakened immune system.
