After a spectacular disintegration, President Donald Trump and Elon Musk met to honor the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, who was co-founder of Turn Point USA, was murdered while speaking at Utah Valley University during his’ Peaance Me Wrong ‘campus tour’. His murder led to an outpouring of support around the world, as well as criticism of conservatives and lefts.

The relationship of bromance between Musk and the President flourished when the CEO of Tesla campaigned for Trump during his White House – Run from 2024, which would win both the election and the popular mood.
He then led Doge, also known as the Ministry of Efficiency of the Government, and claimed that he could reduce trillions in government waste.
Musk blows Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’
Musk was a frequent competition in the Oval Office and reportedly had Trump’s ear on important policy issues early in his second term. Trump even acquired a red Tesla in a show of support for Musk.

Cracks in the relationship began to appear when Musk became a frequent critic of Trump’s ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’, who placed his criticism of X, the social media platform that he owns. It is said that his position has irritated Trump.
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This huge, shameful, pork -filled bill of congress expenditure is a disgusting horror. Shame about those who voted for it: you know you did it wrong. You know,” wrote Musk. The national debt has stayed with a record of $ 37 trillion and counting.

Musk left at the end of May Doge. The bill, which expanded Trump’s tax cuts alongside other initiatives, was adopted in July 2025.

During comments in June, Trump said that it got a “little bit strange” with Musk when the administration came closer to scrapping mandates for electric vehicles, despite the fact that Musk was more aware of the plans.
The maker of electric vehicles had long received the benefits and financing of the government from the Ministry of Energy.
Tesla shares have improved more than 12% this year.
