An Italian belly dancer of the Egyptian descent was arrested in her native country for “the use of seductive techniques,” said Media reports.
Sohila Tarek Hassan Haggag, a naturalized Italian citizen who was born in Egypt and possesses Egyptian citizenship, was included in the Cairo International Airport at Ciro International Airport on 22 June. She is accused of corrupting public morality with her provocative dance, De Telegraaf reported.

Sohila Tarek Hassan Haggag, who dances belly under the name Linda Martino, was arrested at Cairo airport in June.
The case against Haggag, which dances under the name Linda Martino, was activated by videos on her Instagram account, in which she turns around in revealing clothing and describes herself as “more than you can handle.”
She appeared “in indecent clothing, deliberately exposed to sensitive areas of the body, in flagrant violation of social values,” said researchers.

Haggag is supposed to stay in prison for at least two weeks. Allegedly she moved back to Egypt a few years ago, where she built her successful career. She was previously married to an Italian, the report said.
In recent years, Egypt has laid down on activities that are considered morally doubtful. Five belly dancers were imprisoned under President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on accusations comparable to those against Haggag, Italian media reported.
