Disney commemorates the American men and women in uniform for 70 years with a video that emphasizes the traditional flag retreat ceremony, which started on the opening day of Disneyland. Every day since July 17, 1955, Disneyland held a ceremony for the retreat of the flag. The Magic Kingdom, one of Disney’s theme parks in Florida, joined the tradition on the opening day in 1971.

In honor of the 249th Independence Day of America, Disneyland organizes the 1st Marine Division Band, which will perform in the Ceremony of July 4. This is followed by extra versions prior to “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A concert in the air in the air.” The Magic Kingdom will also organize a concert in the air.

Spirit of Service lives 70 years after veterans had built the original Disney Park
While America is approaching its 250th birthday, Disney is a tribute to his long -standing support from American service members.
The company has already held various events this year in honor of veterans, in particular the celebration of Disney World of the 250 -year anniversary of the US Army in June and a surprising Disneyland trip for 100 American navy sailors and marines in May. Moreover, Disney World announced an extension of an art exhibition with portraits of veterans painted by former President George W. Bush.

“Since its foundation, Disney has been dedicated to the ideals and dreams that America has created. It is where heroes are celebrated and veterans are celebrated,” the company wrote in the caption for the video that his commitment to support American service members on his YouTube channel.
The affinity of the Walt Disney Company for the US Army is rooted in the founding and both Disney Brothers, Walt and Roy, served in the First World War. According to the company’s website, Walt drove an ambulance for the Red Cross Ambulance Corps, while Roy served as a small officer at the Navy.
