After the tax cuts of the Republicans for the rich and service reductions for all others, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Republicans of the House congratulated the house with the loss of their majority.
DCCC chairman Suzan Delbene said in a statement:
House republicans have doubled with their broken promise to working Americans. Their voice to pass their large, ugly bill again – larger and ugly than ever – is their newest and loudest explanation of the fact that they will always give priority to serving their billionaire campaigns at the expense of American children, families and employees they have to represent.
Let’s be clear – vulnerable Republicans have admitted time and again that even they know that their bill would destroy access to health care, increase costs, lower jobs, threaten rural hospitals and lead to families becoming hungry, but they were to pass it.
This large, ugly bill is a laundry list of the betrayal of Republicans to the American people. The DCCC will ensure that every battlefield voter knows how vulnerable home republicans have left them by adopting the most unpopular piece of legislation in modern American history, and we will take back the majority of the house.
The only way to reverse these cutbacks is that Democrats will at least win a majority in the house in the interim elections. A Democratic victory in November puts an end to Trump’s Republican Enablers who allow this policy and rubber stamp.
Trump will also make a democratic victory the lambest Lamme ducks.
Democrats in the house and the Senate showed more fighting in fighting this bill than returned to the White House at any time since Trump.
If Democrats want power, they must show voters that they are willing to fight, and every Battlefield Republican will now be saddled with the disastrous account of Trump.
