Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has made himself the face of the Democratic change in tactics when dealing with Trump and his party, but there is a broader sense that the insistence of the Elite Consultant class that had to move was rejected in the direction of Trump and the party has united on a strategy to fight and hard.
While Gavin Newsom did Podcasts with Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk, Huisdemocratic leader Hakeem Jeffries sounded alarm before Trump came into the office and tried to drag congress democratic leadership to the fighting mode.
After Chuck Schumer almost got out of the party because he went to Trump about the financing of the government, the tide seemed to shift. When Trump continued to grow the interim elections, it seems that Democrats were on all levels on the same page.
