Virginia Democrats gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger really wants voters to know she has three daughters, and that should send every Virginia mother and father straight to the polls.
The girl’s mother is committed to putting families first even as she refuses to withdraw support from attorney general candidate Jay Jones, who dreamed of putting bullets in a former Virginia House speaker and watching his children die.
Maybe she’s not talking about putting the speaker’s family first.
SPANBERGER SILENT ON TWO CONTROVERSIES IN FINAL STRETCH OF RACE IN VIRGINIA
And while Virginia’s children have suffered collateral damage as a result of the irresponsible policies she supports, she is absolutely not talking about putting those families first.

In 2024, Richard Cox, a now 58-year-old man, allegedly exposed himself to women and children throughout northern Virginia after being allowed to share locker rooms with them simply because he calls himself a woman – even though he is a registered sex offender.
At a high school in northern Virginia, a 14-year-old girl told a teacher in September that a boy was lurking in the girls’ locker room and watching girls get changed. The teacher’s answer: too bad.

From the moment a complaint was filed with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights for violating Title IX, the high school solution told the girl she needed to change faster. Their priority is to accommodate the boy who wants to undress in front of girls.
I’m old enough to remember when schools actually protected children.
This summer, school officials at a high school in Fairfax County, Virginia, were exposed in a blatantly unethical and underhanded scandal for allegedly funding, at taxpayer expense, an abortion for a minor and attempting to do the same for another student — without parental consent. The message: we are responsible for your children.
The same schools won’t give children Tylenol without sending an email to the parents.

When asked about the abortion scandal, instead of putting families first, Spanberger stammered about Virginia’s low math scores.
Maybe because gender indoctrination of children plus sex obsession with children does not equal winning in math. No education degree required; Don’t mention it.

In 2021, a boy dressed as a girl raped a ninth-grader in a school bathroom in northern Virginia. The school blatantly denied it and the superintendent worked overtime to cover it up. The school’s top priority was to save the transgender bathroom policy – the current religion in public schools.
Mission accomplished, the policy was safe, even if our children were not. While the superintendent was eventually fired, the boy moved to another school in the district. Guess what happened: he attacked another girl.
ELON MUSK WADES INTO VIRGINIA TRANSGENDER BATHROOM COLLISION, DEM GOV CANDIDATE TRUMP SAYS WRONG
In Orwellian fashion, the rape victim’s father, Scott Smith, was arrested by police and whisked away from a school board meeting as if he were the criminal.
Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin pardoned Smith after he was elected. However, Spanberger believes the boy had every right to be in the bathroom with Smith’s daughter.
Just a few years ago, the #MeToo movement told us to believe all women, no questions asked. Now it’s as if the pendulum has swung so far the other way that we are allowed to believe that there are no girls and no questions are asked.
While Spanberger has largely vowed to remain silent about the consequences of the disastrous policies she is pursuing that violate women and girls — save for a few garbled word salads she had to exclude — her voices speak for themselves.
THE GOVERNMENT OF VIRGINIA. YOUNGKIN WARNS AGAINST DEM CANDIDATE’S CENTRIST LABEL, SAYS SHE WILL END COOPERATION WITH ICE
Not only did she vote against the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, she also voted to keep children’s gender transitions hidden from parents while schools encourage them.
She also voted for the all-but-equal Equality Act, which ignores our daughters and sets them back decades by allowing men to invade and violate their most sacred spaces. Since it has a nice name on it, she hopes you’re too stupid to notice it.
When asked about the abortion scandal, instead of putting families first, Spanberger stammered about Virginia’s low math scores.
When asked to answer whether girls should be forced to be naked in front of boys, it resulted in an excruciating, nearly three-minute, incoherent ramble on rotational grazing practices that sounded like something out of Kamala school of communication.
Know when to land the plane, Abby.
Other times, when prompted, she would have her staff interfere and stop questions. The moratorium on her oath of silence came to an abrupt end, because her salad apparently ran out of words.

Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana likes to say that the Republican strategy for dealing with Democrats in Congress is “operation let them speak.”
If you let people talk long enough, you learn what they really think. For Spanberger, even when she speaks, she is silent about putting Virginia families first.

Across Virginia, our children have been subjected to unnecessary harm as a result of the policies she supports, and Spanberger – the mother running for governor – is silent about it all.

Although Spanberger has used the despicable and irresponsible “let your anger fuel you” rhetoric to provoke voters, it tells you everything you need to know about why she won’t put any light between her and Jay Jones.
Common Sense Virginia voters will be fueled by our anger, but we will do it peacefully – all the way to the voting booth.
