According to federal supervisors, more than 355,000 Ford trucks sold in the US are recalled due to a problem with the dashboard display.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said that certain Ford 2025-2026 models, such as the F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, F-25 SD and the 2025 F-150, were included in the recall.

The display of the instrument panel shows critical information for drivers, such as the speed meter of the car, tachometer, fuel meter, engine temperature meter and mileage counter. If there is a problem with this panel, this usually means that something is wrong with how the car displays information such as speed, fuel level and navigation.
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) in the recalled vehicles can be empty when the car is switched on due to a computer error that occurs when the system tries to go to sleep.

Ford is aware of 95 warranty claims and one vehicle owner Questionnaire (VOQ) with regard to this care, but is not aware of accidents or injuries.
The supervisor warned that the panel can fail after the engine has started. The software is updated by a dealer or via an update over the air.
