It’s sad to say, but what Americans have seen unravel before their eyes in recent weeks with the revelations of Arctic Frost and other FBI-related scandals is not the least bit shocking to me. In fact, it confirms what I describe in my book.”The Two FBIs: The Courage and Betrayal I Saw During My Time at the Bureau,” which was published by Broadside Books on November 11. I was humbled when I was personally invited to the Oval Office last week to meet with President Donald Trump, who endorsed my book.
I loved being an FBI Special Agent for over a decade and considered it a sacred responsibility and mission. After graduating from the FBI Academy, I was assigned to the Miami Field Office, where I initially worked on white-collar crime and then transitioned to then-Team C15, where I worked tirelessly on the number one nationally ranked Fugitive Violent Crimes Task Force, erasing the most heinous crimes. I share harrowing investigations and harrowing takedowns.
Yes, it was physically taxing and emotionally upsetting, but I believed I was fulfilling a greater purpose – until things changed and the FBI’s trajectory was turned upside down. I watched the FBI become politically and socially weaponized. It was like two FBIs showed up.
NICOLE PARKER ON COURAGE AND TREASON AT THE FBI
I believe that honesty is essential to an honorable life. This means speaking up when something is not right in your soul, and telling it like it is. That is not always easy. Sometimes it puts a target on your back. When I worked in the FBI, I knew agents who chose to tell the truth or tell a distorted version of it; they told others what they wanted to hear. I’m not.
FBI 1 consists of those who join the FBI with pure motives to serve Americans, putting the needs of the victims first. They are ethical and uphold their oath to uphold and protect the Constitution in a fair and unbiased manner. They keep their heads low, stay off the radar and work hard, doing the hard work while pursuing noble causes without fanfare or self-promotion. FBI 1 makes the bureau proud.

FBI 2, on the other hand, is the antithesis of FBI 1. It consists of FBI employees who abuse their law enforcement power to push their political and social agendas. Many are self-promoters in leadership positions at DC headquarters or in executive management across the country, while others are field agents or support staff.
FBI ‘STONEWALLED’ TRUMP HOME-ASSASSIN ATTEMPTED INVESTIGATION, CONGRESSIONS MOVE
FBI 2 is not limited to one location or one role; its members are spread throughout the agency from top to bottom. The mentality of FBI 2 covers a broad spectrum and exudes haughty arrogance in some and blasé laziness in others. FBI 2’s nefarious actions have destroyed the bureau’s once good reputation.
Is it an exaggeration to say that the FBI is embroiled in a civil war? I don’t think so. Lines have been drawn and sides chosen: FBI 1 versus FBI 2.

On the one hand: integrity, meritocracy, protection of the American people. On the other hand: personal agendas and identity politics, DEI, serious crime investigations replaced by politically motivated cases, maintaining law and order replaced by performative posturing.

I was concerned about my decision to leave the FBI two years into the Biden administration. Ultimately, my identity was not my career. I had prayed and knew it was time to go in October 2022.
Following the path the Lord has intended for you is not always easy. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense and you might go against the flow. In fact, you may feel alone. But if you trust Him, you can never go wrong. That reassurance allowed me to walk away.

I am still deeply saddened that conditions deteriorated to the point where leaving was my best option. But my departure has given me the independence to be candid and speak the truth as a witness.
As Abraham Lincoln said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

In my new book ‘The two FBIs“I explain how that battle was fought: the battles, the constant tug-of-war between FBI 1 and FBI 2. In every war there are casualties, both literally and figuratively. In my time in the FBI I have experienced both.
I still feel the pain of witnessing up close the degradation of what had once been the world’s premier law enforcement agency. Unfortunately, my perspective was not unique. Others like me also left the agency.
Much further, two officers were killed while executing a search warrant against a child predator. One of them was my best friend at the bureau, a spectacularly gifted and dedicated agent whose legacy deserves better than what the FBI had to offer.

My story is not always pretty, but it is the truth as I saw it and as I lived it. The war continues. But I am hopeful with the new administration that FBI 1 will be given a higher position, while FBI 2 should be eliminated.
I believe that in the end, good will win. I have chosen to share my story about the two FBIs with the world, to make it my contribution to hastening that outcome.
