The suspect accused of killing a conservative activist Charlie Kirk Seemed to be admitted to others in an online chat before they surrender to the authorities, according to a report in the Washington Post.
The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinsonwrote to friends on the online platform Discord: “Hey guys, I have bad news for all of you. I was at UVU yesterday. I’m sorry for all this.”

Charlie Kirk’s social media platforms receive millions of followers, subscribers since murder
According to the report, the report was sent on Thursday evening, about two hours before civil servants in custody names. Discord provided authorities a copy of the message with the confession, according to the report.
Attorney Jeff Gray from Utah County said that Tyler Robinson is being accused of various counts, including worse murder.
Gray emphasized ideological motives, with Robinson’s family and his own statements that indicate the growing political radicalization. Robinson had expressed opposition against Kirk, accused him of spreading hate and left a note in which he declared his intention to kill Kirk.

Said his mother Robinson “had become more political … more pro-gum and trans-rights oriented,” said Gray.
Gray also revealed a conversation that took place before the shooting where Robinson UVU called a “stupid location” for the Kirk event and accused Kirk of “Spreading Hate”.

In one exchange, Twiggs asked Robinson Why he did it. Robinson replied: “I had had enough of his hatred. No hatred can be negotiated. If I can grab my gun unseen, I will not have left any evidence. I will try to pick it up again, hopefully they have continued. I have not seen anything about those who find it.”

When asked how long he had planned the shooting, Robinson said it was “a little more than a week”.
Gray announced to That he intends to look for the death penalty in the case against Robinson.
