Bad Bunny’s historic halftime performance Superbowl LX on Sunday brought more surprises than just its sizzling set and celebrity cameos.
Before Lady Gaga took the stage as one of the Puerto Rican superstar’s surprise guests, an officiant was seen wanting to marry two people. After social media users speculated whether they actually tied the knot, Rohan Nadkarni of NBC Sports confirmed that the wedding was indeed real.
A Bad Bunny representative also confirmed this Variety that the marriage was legitimate.
The moment reportedly came after the couple invited Bad Bunny to their ceremony, but the musician couldn’t attend because he was busy with the Super Bowl halftime show — so the couple got the opportunity of a lifetime to get married mid-performance onstage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

As the couple took the stage, Gaga sang a Latin-inspired version of her 2024 hit with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” and danced with Bad Bunny.
Representatives for Bad Bunny and the NFL did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.
Alongside Gaga, Bad Bunny kept the energy going as he brought out singer Ricky Martin, another Puerto Rican icon.
Social media users on X praised Bad Bunny’s stunning performance.

“So many emotions. Bad Bunny made me feel like I was at a Puerto Rican wedding, family reunion and liberation party [dance emojis] Nice. He killed it,” one person said wrote.
Another one said“Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance could sum up Latino culture in 15 minutes. The kid sleeping on the chairs at the wedding is PEAK.”
“I didn’t expect to choke. That was beautiful, Bad Bunny! I especially loved the set and camera work on the wedding scene [heart emoji]”, someone else wrote.
