Christopher Lloyd Is ready to give up his house in Santa Barbara.
The 86-year-old actor mentioned his Montecito estate for $ 6.38 million, in collaboration with Listing Agents Ron Brand and Arthur Kalayjian from Compass Montecito.
Lloyd and his wife, Lisa, bought the building in 2017, but their ties with the area went back to 1996. The couple previously had a house nearby that was destroyed in a 2008 fire. As they rebuilt it, they later made their primary home the current estate.
Since their purchase of the house, it has undergone two major renovations, with many of the Designing Comment completed by Lisa itself.

“When we bought the house, I definitely intended to change the whole feeling of it. We loved the location, but I didn’t like the house – now, “Lisa explained.” Today it is beautiful, private, creative and peaceful. I wanted the landscape and the interior to flow together, which was not the case when we bought it. Now the house is filled with calm colors, warm wooden floors and soft, rounded edges. What was once cold and hard contemporary has become soothing, running and serene. ”
The 2,880 square base house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and offers room -high windows that live seamlessly inside/outside and a picturesque view of the PacificChannel Islands and the Santa Barbara Harbor.

The building also includes a guest retreat with one bedroom and a bathroom.
“This house is a special place for us, our sanctuary,” said Christopher. “Lisa and her creative team have taken a lot of care in every detail and wanted to create a space that feels restorative and peaceful when you walk through the door.”

Lloyd participates in a list of stars with houses in Montecito, including Oprah Winfrey, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
