Australia affected by the rise in anti -Semitic incidents

A series of anti -Semitic attacks in Australia, including a arson attack on a synagogue in Melbourne and a violent raid in a restaurant in Israel, has Jews in the Australian city who live in fear and demanding officials take action.
The first attack took place when attackers started a fire outside the exterior doors of the Hebrew municipality in Oostmelbourne. About 20 worshipers ate the Shabbat dinner in, according to SBS News. The police have not yet categorized the incident.
Avi Yemini, main reporter for Rebel News Online in Australia, said that the rapid reaction of the fire brigade “another synagogue in this city remained destroyed in a terror attack, such as the fire bombing of the Adas Israel Synagogue last year, which remains uncertain.”

Later that same evening, dinners terrorized in the Israeli restaurant Miznon, about 20 masked extremists. According to The Jerusalem PostProtesters sang “Death to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)” and threw chairs and glassware in the restaurant.

One demonstrator was arrested by the police of Victoria, but was released and gave a summons.

SBS News Also reported that the Victoria police are investigating a third incident, in which perpetrators set fire to three vehicles, destroy one and sprayed a wall nearby. A police commander refused to say whether the content of the painting was anti -Semitic, but described all three incidents as “conclusions of anti -Semitism”.
Alex Ryvchin, Co-CEO of the Executive Council of Australian Jodendy (ECAJ), issued a statement about X and insisted that “all parties of politics and all Australians condemn these regrettable crimes.”
“Those who sing before death are not peace activists.
Note from the “violent ideology at work in our country that operates on the edge of politics and social movements,” said Ryvchin “those responsible cannot be argued or reconciliation. They must be confronted with the full power of the law.”

Yemini said that Friday’s attacks show how “encouraged” demonstrators have become.
“Since October 7, the police of Victoria-under the leadership of the Aanti-Israël demonstrators have allowed Melbourne to keep Melbourne effective,” he said.

Gideon Sa’ar, the Israeli Foreign Minister, also strongly condemned the attacks and said that there were “too many anti -Semitic attacks in Australia” and he called on the Australian government to “do more to combat this poisonous disease.”
