Israeli media reported that the two attackers got into a bus and opened the fire. Paramedics said that 15 other people were injured and six were in serious condition.
The police said that two attackers were “neutralized” shortly after the shooting started, but did not release additional information about the identities of the attackers.
Paramedics who responded on stage said that the area was chaotic and covered with broken glass, with people injured and unconscious on the road and a sidewalk at the bus stop.
The fatal attack comes when the constant war in Gaza is approaching two years after the massacre of 7 October. The war in Gaza has fueled an increase in violence in both the Israeli West Bank and Israel. Palestinian militants have attacked Israelis and killed in Israel and the West Bank, while there is also an increase in the violence of the settlers against Palestinians.
