At least 89 Christians are gender by jihadists in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Open doors, which guard Christian persecution around the world, claimed that about 70 were killed while they were worshiped at a funeral service, killed with the rest in the villages of potodries and Ntoyo in the Noord -Kivu region of the DRC.
Many more villagers are missing. The Intelligence Group, which is located in the US, which monitors militant activities, said Reuters that the death toll had approached 100.
The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) group, also known as the Islamic State Central State -Africa Province, linked to ISIS -the same group that reportedly killed 49 Christians while they had prayed in a church in the Drc -village of Komanda and more in Irumu.

A local pastor, honor. Mbula Samaki, told an open partner of the doors from the scene: “They arrived and started killing. Those who tried to flee were shot and others were killed with Machetes.”
“The people, they say we are tired, when does this come to an end? Because it is killing someone every day. You can find a family where two or three family members were killed, or a child whose both parents were killed. So it’s pain, it’s pain.”

President Donald Trump announced a peace agreement for the DRC in June. But local fighters, sources say, only seem willing to make it work in the area around the eastern city of Goma. The ADF, on the other hand, increases its attacks. This area is almost exclusively Christian. The ADF attackers are all bent Islamic militants, say observers, say what Christians force their land of and determined to prevent Christians from practicing their faith.

A Christian leader with knowledge in the field added: “If the Trump administration can pay attention to what happens in the east of the DRC with ADF like she, perhaps with other countries such as Ukraine, I think they can suppress the pressure on the DRC government and even support them to better tackle these ADF attacks.”
“If these people, these forces that are, and those things can change, can see this as a family, as a child whose father no longer lives. If they can just see it as people, not figures, they are not incidents, they are people. It is as if their lives are less worthwhile, less worthwhile to be spoken. And I don’t think that’s good.
