Israeli troops intercepted a new fleet that tried to break through the sea block of the country and reach Gaza, said the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and called the attempt a “vain attempt” that “did nothing”. The ministry also said that the ships and passengers had been transferred to an Israeli port and were safe and in good health. According to the ministry, passengers are expected to be turned off quickly.
The fleet of nine boats transported 145 activists who participated in the Freedom Flotilla Coalition and Thousand Madleens to Gaza, That reports associated pressWith reference to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The organizers of the fleet said in a statement that the fleet had more than $ 110,000 in aid, including medicines, ventilation equipment and nutritional stocks intended for hospitals in Gaza.

David Heap, from the Canadian Boat to Gaza and Freedom Flotilla Coalition Steering Committee, claimed that “Israel has no legal authority to hold international volunteers on board these ships.”
“Our volunteers do not fall under Israeli jurisdiction and cannot be criminalized for providing help or challenging an illegal blockade. Their detention is random, illegal and must end immediately.” Added hope.

Israel claims that Greta Thunberg’s Flotille who wants to break the Gaza blockade, has ties with Hamas, quotes documents
This seizure comes only a few days after Israeli troops have intercepted a different aid fleet and the activists have arrested on board, including Greta Thunberg, a pronounced critic of Israel. Thunberg was also arrested when he participated in a fleet in June.
The Global Sumud Flotilla, who was intercepted on October 2, became the subject of controversy when Israel said that the fleet had no help. Flotille organizers emphasize that the statement “was not only demonstrably false; it is also obscene”, saying that the boats “were meticulously documented, loaded with medical stocks, food and other life-saving food for the people in Gaza.”

Thunberg was also on board another fleet to Gaza that was intercepted in June. The climate activist said she was ‘abducted’ by Israel, a remark that criticized those who pointed to the fate of hostages who have been held in Gaza since 7 October 2023.
The activist was later deported from Israel and would have told lawyers that she could ‘do more good outside of Israel’, and that refusing to ‘leave our case’, reported the Times of Israel, referring to a spokesperson for Adalah, a legal center for the rights of Arabian minorities in Israel. Adalah now represents GSF, a more recent attempt to reach Gaza.
When President Donald Trump was asked in June about the claim of Thunberg that she was ‘abducted’ by Israel, he said, “I think Israel has enough problems without kidnapping Greta Thunberg.” The president called the climate activist a “strange person” and told reporters that she needed “anger control” courses.
