On Fox News, Vice President JD Vance had a simple reason why house prices are so expensive. Vance did not blame the consumer’s demand that surpassed the supply, or the fact that America did not build enough houses, or the after -shocks of the pandemic that lingers in parts of the economy.
JD Vance, who apparently learns from Donald Trump’s knee, blamed interest rates and immigrants.
You must understand the causes here. Why did houses become so priceless for American citizens? Two major problems. Number one, I already talked about interest rates were too high. Number two, you had far too many people in this. Land that competes against American citizens for scarce houses, and that is the illegal immigration problem.
Why is the houses deviated from the past six months? I really believe that the most important driver is that for the first time in this country you have had a negative net migration to the United States. 60 years, you can’t flood the United States of America. With 20, 30, 40 million people who have no legal right to be here, she lets compete against young American families for houses and do not expect the price to be raised.
It is as simple as supply and demand. You increase the question, you are going to increase. The price. And, and the last thing I want to say here is that we work on, on problems now in the White House, every day in the White House. Because we also want to make it easier to build houses, because in the same way that getting illegal aliens from this country means that fewer people compete against young American families.
Getting the blame for immigrants for housing costs is the stupidest and most racist answer that you are conceivable.
