It’s time for a dose of honesty, the Sunday shows are terrified of Donald Trump and they avoid framing every criticism in the softest way. For decades, the shows have had more Republican than democratic guests, and it is rare that a democratic guest will become one of the shows and confronts Trump’s reality.
One of those moments happened to the Press when Kristen Welker Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) asked about Trump’s statements about Los Angeles: “So Senator, let me ask you about that. President Trump’s decision to use the national guard, the Marines, despite the fact that Californian Governor did not say that?”
Schiff answered:
Yes, I do. And you know, let’s call the president’s statement what it is. And that is just a downright lie. The idea that Los Angeles would have been burned on the ground, it is absurd. These demonstrations took place in an area with several blocks in a city that is 500 square miles. Our police and the office of our sheriff and our highway patrol are more than able to deal with this. And if they don’t – not, the mayor and the governor would ask the help of our guard. That is not done. It was not necessary. And I think this is just Donald Trump who does what he wanted to do in the first government, who essentially used the army for domestic law enforcement, to make himself look tough.
In the first government there were at least a few people in the cabinet of independence who could say: “No, Mr. President. That’s a lawless idea. That’s a stupid idea.” But there is no one in this current government to tell the president: “That’s a stupid idea. It will make things worse.” And they are nothing but Sycofanten, the Stephen Millers and the Kristi NEMS and the rest of them. And so we see this – this terrible escalation, this increasing lawlessness. The court was right to find it lawless. Now that Marines are being arrested, at least one arrest and detention, that will also be challenged. And I think that will also be found as lawless.

A look at the number of polls from Trump shows that the majority of Americans already know these truths about Trump, but the media in the company refuse to confirm the American people what they already suspect it is true.
Donald Trump lies about the need for federal troops and the situation in Los Angeles because he wants to look strong.
The best way to confront a fake -strong man who is actually weak is to speak through the truth, just as Senator Schiff did on Meet The Press.
