Jimmy Kimmel is back.
Trump’s action against freedom of expression and criticism of him took a big blow on Tuesday when ABC announced that ‘host Jimmy Kimmel suspended indefinitely’ will be back on the network on Tuesday evening.
Disney said in a statement:
Last Wednesday we made the decision to suspend production on the show to further avoid a tense situation for our country at an emotional moment.
It is a decision that we made because we found that some comments were poorly timed and therefore insensitive. We have spent the last days of discussed conversations with Jimmy and after those conversations we made the decision to give the show back on Tuesday.
That is a nice attempt at Disney spider, but the truth is that they have put Kimmel under pressure from the FCC chair from Trump, Brendan Carr, who celebrated after the Kimmel network removed from the sky. President Trump celebrated when Jimmy Kimmel was taken from the sky live.
What Disney did was greater from the Trump administration and the pressure exerted by Network Affiliate -owners Nexstar and Sinclair broadcast.
