Some employees of the FBI seem to be unhappy with the direction Donald Trump takes the desk.
NBC’s Ken Dilanian posted on X:
Brian Driscoll, fired FBI director, was just clapped from an FBI facility in Virginia, because more than 200 people paid tribute. “People are pissed off,” says a source.
Trump pushes non-party-related officials in favor of loyalists since he took on.
Dilanian also placed that Trump pursued an FBI officer who lost his wife to cancer last month:
Walter Giardina was also pushed in the Trump/Patel/Bongino FBI Purge, sources tell me. He is a marine veteran of the war in Iraq. Last month he lost his wife, who was 49, to pancreatic cancer.
According to the FBI Agents Association, hold on to HATS, the Trump administration violates the process for FBI Agent Employment Reviews:
The FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) is deeply concerned by reports that FBI -Special Agents – both case agents and senior leaders – are briefly fired without a suitable process to do their work that investigate potential federal crimes. Agents do not get the option to choose and choose their affairs, and these agents have carried out their assignments with professionalism and integrity. The most important thing is that they have followed the law. There is an assessment process when employment actions are undertaken against agents.
The process was determined in such a way that the FBI could remain independent and apolitical. FBI leadership commit – both publicly and directly to FBIAA – that they would adhere to that process. We urge them to meet that dedication and follow the law. If these agents are fired without an appropriate process, it makes the American people less safe. Agents must be focused on their work and not be dismissed illegally based on their assignments. FBIAA actively assesses all legal options to defend our members. We will always have the back of FBI agents.
The statement of the FBI Agents Association is the nail. What Trump and his followers do is try to dismantle the independence of the FBI.
People like Driscoll are fired because they are not Trump -Loyalists.
What is interesting is that applauding Driscoll when he leaves the building is a gesture of resistance to the regime. When the FBI agents investigated Trump, they did their work.
The same FBI also investigated Hunter Biden and the Trump administration did not firmly fired from that study.
If Republicans lose in the interim election, it is easy to separate Trump’s grip for the federal government.
The agents who applauded Driscollwissed, expressed their dissatisfaction with his resignation, and this dissatisfaction at the FBI is reflected in many corners of the country, especially under the current administration.
