Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., At the end of Thursday Schoten made the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and accused him of trying to try the long-awaited peace talks on Friday between President Donald Trump and the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Greene responded to a message on X of the account, “Open Source Intel”, who reported that Ukraine had launched one of the largest “drone attacks on Russia in the last few hours.
“On the eve of the historic peace talks between President Trump and President Putin, Zensky does this,” wrote the Republican legislator. “Zensky does not want peace and clearly tries to sabotage the heroic efforts of President Trump to end the war in Ukraine. I pray that peace reigns.”

On Thursday, Ukraine launched several drone attacks in Russia, damaged various apartment buildings in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don and injured more than a dozen citizens, according to acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar. Two of the wounded were admitted to the hospital in a serious condition, he said.
The Ukrainian strikes came after Russian strikes in the Sumy region of Ukraine at night, which resulted in several injuries, including a 7-year-old girl, per officials.
Local officials also accused Ukraine of launching a drone attack in Belgorod that injured three people, and another who hit a car in the village of prists who killed at least one person.

Despite the violence, Trump and Putin are planned to meet each other on Friday in Anchorage, Alaska for a high-stakes top about the future of the Ukrainian war.
The meeting marks Putin’s first visit to the US since 2015 and the first US-Russia summit since June 2021.

Putin praised the US on Thursday to make “genuine efforts” to end the war between Russia and Ukraine, which has been raging since the beginning of 2022. On television appeared on television, the Russian president said that the US “in my opinion, fairly energetic and sincere efforts to stop the hostilities, the crisis and reaching the interest in these conflicts”.
Zenskyy accused Russia of not being sincere in his intention to settle the war.
“This war must be terminated. The pressure must be exerted on Russia because of a just peace. The experience of Ukraine and our partners must be used to prevent deception by Russia,” said Zenskyy.

“At the moment there is no sign that the Russians are preparing to end the war. Our coordinated efforts and joint actions – Van Ukraine, the United States, Europe and all countries seeking peace – can certainly force Russia to make peace,” he added.
