For the second day in a row, one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki, broke out.
The explosion launched a column of smoke and volcanic material that shot 11 miles early on Saturday morning. Draws from the volcano covered villages, but no victims have been reported. The explosion was one of the largest in the country since the eruption of Mount Merapi 2010, the most volatile volcano in the country.
On Friday, in an eruption that took place only a few hours before one Saturday morning, Smoke and Ash went as high as 6.2 miles, while the volcano lit heaven with glowing lava and lightning bolts.

The Geology Agency of Indonesia registered an avalanche of burning gas clouds mixed with rocks and lava that travel the slopes of the mountain 3 miles away. Drone observations showed deep magma movement, which caused tremors that registered on seismic monitors.

Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano is bursting with 1,000 feet ‘lava fountining’
Volcanic material, including hot gravel the size of a thumb, was thrown at a maximum of 5 miles from the crater, which cover nearby villages and towns with thick volcanic residue, the desk said. It asked residents to be vigilant about heavy rainfall that lava flows could activate in rivers from the volcano.
Lewotobi Laki Laki has been broke out at the highest alarm level since the 5.197 feet volcano broke out in June and the exclusion zone has doubled to a radius of 4.3 miles as a result of more common eruptions.
