In an unprecedented announcement on Sunday, the British royal family said that his invitation was accepted to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in September.
The meeting is the first time that an American president has been invited to the United Kingdom for a second state visit and a movement that means that London offers the US-UK partnership in the midst of escalated concern about safety.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will also meet Trump in Scotland during his previously planned “private” visit to his Golf Resort in Aberdenshire later this month, reports that were confirmed for the first time last week.

Although the Trump-Starmer meeting is still important, it is not an official state visit accompanied by ceremonial events, and King Charles III is expected to meet the president during the July meeting.
It is not uncommon for our presidents to make the United Kingdom several times during their presidency. Both predecessors of Trump, presidents, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, visited Great Britain several times, although both only one state visit were made.
The reason for the visit that will take place from 17-19 September in Windsor Castle while Buckingham Palace continues to undergo mass renovations-is not explicitly unveiled and could be because the earlier invitation of Trump was published under the mother of the King Charles III, Queen Elizabeth II, prior to his entry to the throne.

However, it is also amidst the escalated concern about safety, because Russia remains Ukraine Pummel, and European countries remain steadfast in their concern that the war ambitions of Russian President Vladimir Putin are going further than Kyiv.

“The expansion of this invitation therefore shows that the UK is serious about its own dedication to our lasting relationship, but also reminds the US that we have always been an indispensable partner in its global leadership,” he added.
Since Trump came in again, the VK has worked to maintain its strong ties with Washington, despite some geopolitically challenging movements of Trump that have tense other international relations.
