The Ukraine security agency said on Sunday that they have established and killed two Russian agents who have been accused of killing one of the senior officers.
The Ukraine Security Service (SBU) announced that his agents eliminates “two Russian” Hitmen “in the Kyiv region on Sunday morning, in response to the Thursday murder of the SBU colonel Ivan Voronych of SBU.

Vasyl Malyuk, head of the SBU and commander of the special operation, said that the suspected Russian agents were “eliminated” after resisting arrest.
“The FSB Agent-Combat Group was routed to Ukraine in advance and three days ago the murder of an SBU employee, our comrade colonel Ivan Voronych,” Malyuk said in the statement. “As a result of secret research and active counter -in -lighting measures, the hole of the enemy was discovered. Malyuk also thanked the criminal investigation department of the National Police for her support and emphasized that the combating of Russian espionage remains a top -bus priority. He claimed that the SBU “prevents 85% of the crimes trying to bind the enemy” in Ukraine.

Last Thursday, sources told Ukrainska Pravda That Voronych was approached by a non -created attacker around 9 am local time and was shot five times with a gun before the suspect fled.
Surveillance images seemed to show that the colonel lured an apartment building in an ambush while walking to a vehicle. Voronych died of several shot wounds on the spot, the outlet said.
Both Russia and Ukraine have performed targeted murders since the war started in February 2022.
