Former Pink Floyd -Songwriter Roger Waters could be confronted with prosecution after his support for Palestine Action, a terrorist organization that is prohibited by parliament in the UK
Waters posted a video on X on Saturday, in which the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Palestine promotion praised as a “great organization”, while also giving a compliment to Bob Vylan, who led the Glastonbury Festival -audience in a singing, screaming, “Death, Death to the IDF.”
Waters said in his video that he was in his studio and worked on a piece of brown cardboard with a Sharpie.
He then switched the camera from his face to the cardboard.

“This is Independence Day, July 5, 2025,” he continued. “I explain my independence of the UK government, which has just designated Palestinian action, a terrorist, forbidden terrorist organization.”
Waters said he supports Palestinian action and calls it a ‘great organization’ that they are ‘non -violent’ and ‘absolutely no terrorists in any way’.
“They are a non -violent protest organization that protests against the presence in the UK of Elbit Systems, which are an Israeli weapon production organization,” he said. “Okay. So that’s that. I support Palestine promotion, and I will always do that because that’s the right thing to do.”

He then focused his attention on others who support Palestine, such as Bob Vylan, a Punk-Rap Duo that led Anti-Israël hymns at the Glastonbury Festival at the end of last month.

After a parliamentary vote, the government banned the group as a terrorist organization and the ban came into force at midnight.
According to British legislation, offenses include things such as inviting support, expressing approval or showing symbols of a forbidden group, and violations are punished by a maximum of 14 years behind bars and/or a fine.
There are currently 81 groups mentioned under anti-terrorism control laws in Great Britain, including Al-Qaeda, Isis and Hamas.
The Staatsminister of Parliament, Sir David Hanson, said after the approval of the amendment that Palestina campaign has released an “undercover manual” that encourages its members to create small groups and offers guidelines on performing activities against private companies and government buildings.
Hanson also said that the manual explains how to work secretly and avoid arrest.

“The government has assessed that Palestinian action promotes and encourages terrorism. This includes glorification of its attacks with serious material damage on social media,” Hanson said. “I have to say that we would not tolerate this activity from organizations if they were motivated by Islamist or extreme right -wing ideologies, and that is why I cannot tolerate it against Palestinian action.”
“By implementing this measure, we will remove the veil from the Palestinian action from legitimacy, tackle his financial support and his efforts to recruit and strengthen people to commit terrorist activity in his name,” he added.
The campaign against anti-Semitism, which, according to the site of the group, is a “voluntary guided charity institution that focuses on exposing and combating anti-Semitism through education and the enforcement of the law of nulstolerance”, Shared Waters’ Video after it was posted by the former Pink Floyd-Lid.
The group said it has assessed the position and adds that everyone who provides support for it, unlike the Terrorism ACT 2000, is a criminal offense.

They also said they are ready to prosecute offenders in private when the authorities do not act.
“Roger Waters has a long history of promoting dangerous conspirators,” said the spokesperson. “His statement of support for Palestinian action, now a forbidden organization, is his most legally provocative step. We expect the police to take action, and if they don’t, we will do that.”
