The announcement reflects a much more positive assessment with regard to the success of the strikes of 22 June that were aimed at the nuclear locations of Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz than earlier estimates with regard to the extent to which Teheran’s atomic capacities were demolished.
Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the UN, warned during the weekend that Iran could possibly resume enriching uranium within a few months.
The comments also coincided with reports that Iran might have been able to move some of its supplies of near-Weapons-Grade enriched uranium or possibly centrifuges after satellite images have shown More than a dozen trucks were seen on the Fordow Nuclear site prior to the American strikes.

The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi acknowledged this week that there was serious damage to the Fordow facility, although he also stated that “the technology and know -how are still there.”

“Nobody knows exactly what happened in Fordow. Having said that, what we know so far is that the facilities have been seriously and heavily damaged,” Aragchi said during a CBS interview this week.
Although according to Parnell on Wednesday: “All the intelligence that we have (has) seen have led us to believe that Iran – especially those facilities, were completely erased.”
