Diplomats from Great -Britain, France, Germany and the European Union met Iran’s Foreign Minister on Friday and urged the country to continue attacks between Iran and Israel a week after jammed nuclear conversations.
“We would like to continue with continuous discussions and negotiations with Iran, and we urge Iran to continue their conversations with the United States,” said British Foreign Minister David Lammy. “We were clear: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.”
The meeting, held in Geneva, Switzerland, was the first face-to-face with an Iranian leader since last weekend’s flashpoint.
“The good result today is that we leave the room with the impression that the Iranian side is fundamentally ready to keep talking about all the important issues,” said the German Minister of Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul. He said that the two parties had held ‘very serious conversations’.

The meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi lasted more than three hours.
“Military operations can delay Iran’s nuclear program, but in no way they can eliminate it,” said the French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot. “We know well – after we have seen what had happened in Libya, in Libya – how illusive and dangerous it was to impose on regime change from outside.”
In a joint statement, France, the UK, Germany and the EU, said they shared their “serious worries” with Araghchi “with regard to the escalation of tensions in the middle and repeated their fixed dedication to the safety of Israel”, adding that “all parties must obtain a core or a core of a core of the region,”
At the beginning of last Friday, Israel launched air strikes against Iranian nuclear locations after nuclear conversations seemed to block, so Iran took revenge. The two countries continue to act.

“Yes, I can’t do it. I may not do it. I mean, no one knows what I’m going to do. I can tell you that Iran has many problems and they want to negotiate,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday that Iran potentially stands out while continuing to trade with deadly strives with Israel. “And I said, why didn’t you negotiate with me before all this death and destruction? Why didn’t you go? I said to people, why didn’t you negotiate with me two weeks ago? You could have done well. You would have had a country. It is very sad to view this. “
On Friday, Trump told reporters that the US is “prepared and able” to talk to Iran, adding that Iran does not want to talk to Europe. “They want to talk to us. Europe is not going to help,” he said.
He added that while he was against the war in Iraq in 2003, because he did not believe that there were weapons in mass destruction, he believes that Iran is building a nuclear weapon and says that director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is “wrong” by saying that there is not enough evidence to conclude.
“The material they have already collected. It is a huge amount of material. And I think that within a few weeks, or certainly within a few months, they will have a nuclear weapon,” he said. “We can’t let that happen.”
