Israeli forces say they discovered a Hezbollah weapons cache at a hospital in Lebanon this weekend.
The IDF says it has eliminated “approximately twenty terrorists” from the hospital complex after Hezbollah was caught conducting surveillance and shooting at IDF troops from a window of the hospital.
“The terrorist organization Hezbollah systematically and repeatedly used the hospital complex and its immediate surroundings for military purposes, which constituted a serious violation of international law,” the IDF said in a statement.

“The IDF operates in accordance with international law and made it clear to the relevant Lebanese authorities prior to the operation that all military activities in hospitals in Lebanon must stop, and disseminated these warnings through various channels. Nevertheless, Hezbollah continued to use the hospital for military activities,” the IDF said in a statement.
Israel has continued operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon amid a ceasefire between the US and Iran this week.

The operation comes after US talks with Iranian officials failed to make progress in Pakistan over the weekend.
Speaking at a news conference from the Serena Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan, Vice President JD Vance said Iran “has chosen not to accept our terms.”
“The bad news is we haven’t reached an agreement,” Vance said. “And I think this is much more bad news for Iran than for the United States of America.”

The vice president said the talks with Iranian officials lasted 21 hours and described them as “substantial discussions,” but added that the US was unwilling to compromise on its “red lines.”
“So we’re going back to the United States because we haven’t reached an agreement yet. We’ve made it very clear what our red lines are, where we’re willing to accommodate them and where we’re not willing to accommodate them,” Vance added. “And we made that as clear as possible, and they chose not to accept our terms.”

“I don’t know how many times we’ve spoken to him — half a dozen times, a dozen times in the last 21 hours,” Vance said, adding that the U.S. team also communicated with other members of the Trump administration, including the secretary of state. Marco Rubio and Minister of War Piet Hegseth.
