The most serious question concerns Donald Trump’s mental state, because what the war with Iran has revealed is that the chaos and destruction Trump has wrought domestically through the use of ICE and border patrol has now gone global, with immigration agents replaced by the US military.
The idea behind Trump’s war in Iran was not much different from his deployment of armed and masked immigration agents in American cities. The war against Iran was bigger, deadlier and had global consequences.
