Vanessa Trump appeared to break her silence Friday on the rollover crash of her golfer boyfriend Tiger Woods, who was charged last week in Florida with drunken driving, property damage and refusing to take a urine test, by sharing two little words for her partner in an Instagram Story.
Vanessa Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., President Donald Trump’s eldest son, and shares five children with him. She filed for divorce in 2018 and began publicly dating Woods, whose real name is Eldrick T. Woods, in March 2025.
The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. last Friday on Jupiter Island in a 30 mph zone, according to an affidavit released by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office. Officers said Woods was driving a Range Rover and struck a Ford F-150 from behind, causing his car to roll over.
Woods was sweating profusely and had two pills in his pocket, which were later identified as hydrocodone, the affidavit said. Deputy Tatiana Levenar said she “observed several signs of impairment” while speaking with Woods, who refused to take a blood alcohol test.
“I noticed his pupils were extremely dilated.” Levenar said in the affidavit. “I asked Woods if he drank any kind of alcoholic beverage today, and he said, ‘none.’ I asked Woods if he was taking any prescription medications, to which he said, “I take some.”
The professional golfer was previously arrested for drunken driving in 2017. He was found asleep at the wheel of his car at the time, which was damaged with the engine running, and said in a statement that he had taken a mix of prescription drugs that led to an “unexpected reaction.”
In 2021, he was involved in a high-speed crash on the outskirts of Los Angeles, sustaining multiple injuries that required subsequent surgeries. The 50-year-old Woods played his last official tournament in 2024 and finished near the bottom of the British Open that year.

Vanessa Trump shared a photo on Instagram earlier this week of her 18-year-old daughter, golfer Kai Trump, posing at the Miami Open tennis tournament with her tennis coach, Jason Stacy, and fellow golfer Allan Kournikova.
Woods spoke about the crash on Tuesday, as did the president.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” wrote Woods on X. “I will be taking some time away to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order to prioritize my well-being and work towards a sustainable recovery.”
Donald Trump Tuesday told The New York Post“He lives a life of pain. He’s in a lot of pain. He’s a great guy. He’s a great athlete. He does have pain. He doesn’t have an alcohol problem, but he does have pain.”
