British prosecutors have charged three suspects – aged 17, 19 and 20 – in connection with a disturbing arson attack targeting ambulances from North London’s Jewish community.
The March 23 incident took place around 1.45am in the Golders Green area, where four ambulances from Hatzola, a volunteer emergency service for the Jewish community, were deliberately set on fire in the car park of a synagogue.
Hamza Iqbal, 20, Rehan Khan, 19, and a 17-year-old boy are charged with arson with intent to damage property while recklessly endangering life, according to the Metropolitan Police. Officials said two of the suspects are British citizens, while one has dual British and Pakistani citizenship.
