The war against Iran is not going well for Donald Trump, and while the president has consistently said things are great, his rants tell a very different story.
Trump’s struggles were foreshadowed before his trip he answered questions about the Iran war from White House reporters without comment. The questions focused on the US bombing of an Iranian school and the deaths of hundreds of children, and how Trump could declare the war a success if the regime remains in place.
The pump was primed for Trump to head to Kentucky and let loose with a bit of Biden and Obama Derangement Syndrome, while Trump seemed to be pumping himself up just as much as he tried to convince his fans that high gas prices and dead US troops aren’t a sign of failure, because hey, remember Joe Biden?
Trump said:
Give it to a foreign country, that is your enemy. How stupid was that? But that deal, the nuclear deal with Iran, gave them the right to have a nuclear weapon from three years ago. If that deal, if I didn’t cancel that deal, I canceled it very quickly. If I didn’t cancel that deal. They would have had nuclear weapons and this world would be a different place now.
A very different place, believe me.
And then Biden came along. He had no idea. He didn’t know what he was doing, but what they did was incredible. Everything they did was wrong.
Trump was talking about the Iran nuclear deal, which did not give Iran the right to have nuclear weapons. The deal did the opposite. It was intended to ensure that Iran would give up its nuclear ambitions, but Donald Trump tore up that deal and America is at war today because of his decision.
The president started to get going, his broken brain wandering off to make up things about Joe Biden.
