The problem with starting a war because a president feels like he is is that eventually all the inconsistent reasons and nonsensical answers will pile on top of each other, and soon the stories will start to contradict each other, and even the worst and laziest reporters will start asking questions.
It should have become clear afterwards Trump held a press conference two days ago that was a complete fiasco on Iran that perhaps the White House should reconsider this plan to get Trump to answer questions about his war, because the more this president talks, the worse things get for him and his party.
Maybe that’s why they put Karoline Leavitt next to Trump this time, because the president is no longer trusted to fly solo, but the outcome was no better even with Trump’s oversight.
Trump began with his usual sales mission: “Day 11. And as you know, we’re doing something that no one ever thought was possible. Our military is the best, it’s the most powerful in the world, and they’re hitting them really hard. This is 47 years of abuse and killing a lot of people, killing and maiming. A lot of people.”
The president was asked: “A new report shows a new report says that the military investigation has shown that the United States, the school in Iran as commander in chief, do you take responsibility for that?”
