Boxing legend Mike Tyson and ChaChing founder and CEO Max Sugrue talk about their website Price Fighter to help Americans with ‘The Claman Countdown’.
Mike Tyson lived “often” on food stamps and knows that about 42 million Americans will miss out on benefits when the clock strikes midnight.
SNAP will not be funded on November 1 with the government shutdown now a month old.
“People are going to starve. That’s the reality. … Some people are going to suffer,” Tyson said in his appearance on Fox Business Friday.

Tyson knows what those who use SNAP to eat go through.
“I come from this background. I come from where all the food you ate was what you stole, and it was just a bad situation. I’ve never seen anyone as poor as my family. We were cut off from welfare. Poverty is like your first love. Once you get engaged, you never forget it,” he said.
“I come from that time when poverty was simply mandatory.”
But Tyson says his new business venture… ChaCing’s price fighter, is a ‘lifesaver’ for those in a similar situation as him.
Price Fighter is a marketplace that offers the lowest prices for items so that consumers do not have to pay an unfair market price.

“Where in the world can you find the best deal in the world? You go to the website, you go to what you want. It comes out all over the world. It’s cheaper there,” Tyson said.
Tyson likened it to a “website auction.”
“[Price Fighter] is a lifesaver. Best deal in the world. It is the cheapest price in the world. How do you beat that? It’s a no-brainer,” said Tyson.
Tyson implored those who relied on SNAP to use Price Fighter as the government shutdown continues.

“I hope this will help them eat. The government will be shut down. Some people will starve. That is the reality. Not everyone will be able to go to the market. There will be no food in the shops. Some people will suffer, and this will help some people.
“We’re cutting prices down. We’re knocking them out.”
