BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, overseeing $10 trillion, took a victory lap this week, touting its ownership of some of the fastest-growing exchange-traded funds in history.
“Our digital asset ETPs and active ETFs have grown from virtually zero to 10 by 2023 to more than $100 billion in digital assets and more than $80 billion in active ETFs. The rapid growth of these premium categories is another testament to our success in scaling distribution and quickly adapting to new offerings and in new markets,” CEO Larry Fink said this week at the company’s earnings call.
