A blogger has fired the British police after they have arrested him for sharing a meme on social media with the text “F — Hamas.”
Pete North, 47, filmed officers who arrived in his Yorkshire house in the United Kingdom on 25 September and told him that he was being held because he had posted “something on the internet” that a member of their hate crime team “did not appreciate.”
The shocking images shows that an officer explains that North was arrested “on suspicion of publishing or distributing written material intended to generate racial hatred.”
The post in question was shared by North on X in August and contained a Palestinian flag with the words: “F — Palestine. F — Hamas. F —- Islam. Do you want to protest? F — On Muslim country and protest.”

A blogger has fired the British police after they have arrested him for sharing an Anti-Hamas-Meme on social media.
North confirmed to De Telegraaf That although the meme contained offensive references to Palestine and Islam, officers in the interview at the station seemed to be retained with the part focused on Hamas.
“The officer in the interview said:” Well, first, let’s start with the meme. You posted a meme who said F —- Hamas, “North recalled the British outlet.
“I said,” Yes, I placed a meme who said F — Hamas, because Hamas is an internationally a forbidden terrorist organization, also in Great Britain. ” “
He added: “I then asked him:” So that we are on the same page, you know who Hamas is? ” And he just shook … he looked completely empty.

Two officers from North Yorkshire came home to arrest Pete North and took him to the Harrogate police station.
North told The Telegraph that he put the officer under pressure whether he was aware of the atrocities of Hamas, including the murder of civilians on October 7. “He was not at all aware,” said North.
After he was interrogated for a few hours, North was released without costs.
“I feel pretty strong that what political cartoons and memes I post on social media are none of the police cases,” said North.
“No one should be confronted with police questions for placing memes on Twitter. The entire point of this exercise is not to win convictions. It is to terrorize people like me to think twice about placing spicy memes,” he added.
