The most important election year 2026 starts with a new mayor who takes over Gotham on January 1. From Sacramento to Minneapolis to New York, some candidates are Karl Marx. The most striking example is Zohran Mamdani, who promises countless Freebies and has called on ‘the means of production’.
What should we make of this “pop -marxism”? What is his profession?
It is “pop” in two senses of the word. It is popular It is superficial and presents it as new and exciting. It is populist In a Braaying pretension of fame, it calls for free satisfaction and are free attacks on the status quo.

Under the ‘Pop’ is a dangerous ideology. Call Marxism, Socialism or Communism – they strive for the same result. Marx and his disciples provided an “inevitable” future, prophesying that democratic capitalism would make way for statistical socialism, followed by fully remained communism.
I am from Gen Z. We are those who have to prevent socialism from being taken over
In the first step, the inexplicable, indomitable administrative state takes control of all aspects of economic life. All Aspects: what kind of work you can do, where you shop and what you shop, where you live, whether you receive an inheritance or it will be ‘redistributed’ to the believers, and a thousand other economic matters.
And that is just phase one. Communism, the second step, means totalitarian control over not only where you are going and what you do, but what you think and believe. Schools and universities are therefore the epicentra of indoctrination.
Many seem to have done their work. In a survey earlier this year, 62% of young Americans have a positive picture of ‘socialism’, the ideology that 100 million people killed by Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Castro, Mao and others.
NYC’s shocking socialist victory is a serious warning of law
Again, what is the profession?
Young Americans are not poor, hungry or suppressed, rather extremely well -being by historical and contemporary standards. Gens y and z are, to say it clearly, privilegedAnd yet seduced by Marxism.
Two things work together to mislead them: revisionist education and inappropriate feelings of guilt.
The first problem is thin, ideologically driven history education. Every year many high school classes hardly reach the Second World War. Subsequently, exhausted teachers skip the Cold War, the crimes of communism, the heroic stories about resistance and the vigilance of the Western democracies to end the school term with their preferred versions of ‘current events’, such as the alleged courage of eco-terrorists.
New York’s socialist nightmare has just begun, but there is still a way out
At the same time, the curriculum that young people from primary school receive up -up is ideologically reconstructed. They were learned to view all history through the neo-marxistic lens of suppressor Vs. suppressed. The history and literature of the US are framed around race, gender and wage slavery. America is guilty of exploitation and domination.
Second, pop -marxism keeps a twisting feeling of debt. They are given that their blessings were not earned by their grandparents and parents, but rather stolen from the disadvantaged.
The biggest generation? White men who set up the imperial agenda of America. The same for cold warriors from Berlin to South Korea. The wealth of America is poorly obtained, not the fruit of a free society that encouraged innovation by Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison to Carver, Einstein, Copland, Salk, Gates, Jobs and Musk.

Here is the great irony: these young people at the same time have anti-institutional views and a coarse sense of rights. They call for a revolution against companies and slowly moving government institutions, but demand a subsidized first-world lifestyle. They want benefits without work and security without responsibility. After all, does equality do not mean free health care, free college, free transport and guaranteed incomes?
But again, what have we taught them? They learned from the Covid -Lockdowns that money rolls the print press of the state away, citizens could be paid for at home, and passing figures were “earned” only for the appearance at Zoom.
Losing a majority of young Americans to eager Marxism is not only unacceptable, it is dangerous. The leaders of pop marxism are crazy politics, and their young followers can become entangled in the destructive idealism of the moment.

The silent majority of young adults, on the other hand, is much less political, is concerned with earning a course, founding a family and paying the responsible manner.
With 2026 both an election year and the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation, it is a suitable time to be grateful for our blessings, to tell the truth about American history, to restore our establishment principles of ordered freedom and to confront the lies of communism.
