Charlie Kirk is an American martyr to any extent. A Christian soldier. He died as he lived: fighting for light in the darkest corners of America.
The moment he died, Charlie brought to young people, calmly debated and answered questions about the rising tide of violence and radicalism in our country. Charlie illuminated the path for a lost generation of Americans. Then a face -free coward Charlie’s life ended with a single shot. Charlie died of defending peaceful freedom of expression and debate.
Charlie is a real American martyr, brought home by the Lord God for his time. I don’t know why this happened. I have no answers. But I do know what Charlie would want Jesus Christ to be glorified.
Charlie Kirk painted as ‘controversial’, ‘provocative’ in the murder reporting of the media
I had the privilege of working with Charlie for more than 10 years in Turning Point USA. We traveled together, talked together at events, built programs together. I have never met anyone with a clearer feeling of right and wrong, a deeper sense of responsibility or a stronger dedication to truth. His influence reached far beyond politics. He helped shape the hearts, faith and ambitions of countless Americans. He inspired them to live and stand for their beliefs with goal. His vision influenced lives, including mine, in ways that we have changed forever.

I have never shared this story before, but when the safety of my family was in danger in Washington, DC, Charlie immediately opened his house for us. No questions, no hesitation. We stayed there for months while we rebuilt our lives. His generosity gave my family safety, stability and hope. That was Charlie. Always stable. Always selfless. Always put others first. Today I have a flourishing, growing family in Florida because of Charlie. Multiply this effect by millions of young lives, and you start to see the generation power he was.
Charlie’s faith in Jesus Christ was his foundation. God worked in prophetic ways through Charlie. We have seen it all. The longer you observed Charlie, the more something else became clear: Charlie would become president one day. His influence grew exponentially and that influence threatened very dark forces.
Charlie Kirk was proud champion of Christianity on campuses throughout the country: “I am nothing without Jesus”
Make no mistake: killing Charlie Kirk was a political murder. Charlie wanted to cut the evil before he was not to stop.

Charlie was a target because he was winning. He spent his life leading a generation to truth, faith and love for this country. Charlie didn’t just spoke about values; He lived them every day. That made him powerful. It also made Charlie a target of the evil that he fought. And because he was immovable, they acted. Charlie Kirk died as an American martyr and gave his life for the values that this nation built.
To honor him, we must continue his mission. The responsibility to continue his work is ours. This is a moment of national settlement. The troops that Charlie stole from us must be defeated. Charlie’s life was a call for action. His death is a warning. This is the turning point of America.
