Indianapolis (AP) – Three Division I College Basketball players have permanently withdrawn their suitability after the NCAA discovered that they bet at their own matches in Fresno State and San Jose State.
The NCAA committee for violations released findings on Wednesday of one Enforcement test That brought to light by Mykell Robinson, Steven Vasquez and Jalen Weaver. The NCAA said that the three also received betting on each other’s competitions and/or information that enabled others to do this during the regular season 2024-25. Two of the three manipulated their versions to ensure that certain bets were won.
Robinson and Vasquez had been roommates in Fresno State during the 2023-24 season. In January 2025, Robinson, who was still in Fresno State, and Vasquez, then discussed San Jose State-Over SMS that Robinson was planning to find out in various statistical categories during a game for regular season. Robinson also placed several bets on Weaver-his teammate at Fresno State in 2024-25, the NCAA thought.
Vasquez and Robinson also did not succeed in working together with the research of enforcement staff.
