The event closed on Sunday with the World Corgi Meetup, where Lithuanian Corgis was virtually connected to fellow puppies in Ireland, the United States and Poland, according to the AP.

“This is so much fun and great emotion for the whole family, something smart that many people long for these days,” Janina Stoniene, a retired teacher who brought her three grandchildren to the event, told AP.

“So this is a mango, such as a fruit mango, and we participate in Corgi Race 2025 (for the) second time,” Ignas Klimaika, a Corgi lover from Vilnius, told AP. “Last year we did not succeed in perfectly ending the race. We really had good training. We had trained every day, but this year we decided that we just go without training, just to participate, just to enjoy a lot of Corgis.”

Klimaika added: “He knows what he was doing and he is really proud of himself.”
Last year, Corgi Race Vilnius brought 100 Corgis from five countries together and attracted nearly 7,000 fans, according to the website of the event.
